The Lions finally got the victory over South Africa they so desired in the 3rd and final test in Johannesburg. The series had already been won by the Springboks but the Lions salvaged some pride with an emphatic win.

Shane Williams got the first two tries for the Lions, giving the them a 15-6 half-time lead. Stephen Jones kicked 13 points and an intercept try from Ugo Monye sealed the win.
