Highlights from the opening game of the 2008 Tri Nations, between the All Blacks and the Springboks in Wellington. The world champions went down 19 points to 8, in what was the first test to be played under the IRB's new experimental laws.

The All Blacks were leading 9-3 when Bryan Habana reduced the deficit to a point, finishing off a fine break on 38 minutes. The blacks pulled away when Jerome Kaino scored a converted try for the blacks on 46 minutes with another Carter penalty sealing the deal.
